Skating Tips From Our Video's
"Secrets of Hockey Speed, Vol. I and II"
Backward Stride Drill-Click the feet together

"This is a Drill to help you learn to push one foot at a time with all your bodyweight on each push... by actually hitting your feet in the middle (just for practice, not in a game), you will get the feeling of getting all your power over the pushing foot because it is directly under your center of gravity (under your body).

Once you have hit your skates together in the middle, then transfer all of your bodyweight to the other foot, and push a c-cut or halfmoon-cut, up and out, while the gliding foot stays straight under your body (one push at a time and no butt wiggle).  Every push you make should propel you faster and faster"
